Traffic Manager
Bompas & Parr is seeking a dynamic and organised Traffic Manager to join our vibrant creative and events agency.
Objectives for the Role
The Role
As a Traffic Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the flow of projects, both events and consultancy, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the successful execution of our diverse range of projects and events.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with creative teams, project managers, and clients to develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Efficiently allocate resources and manage workloads to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Traffic Flow Management: Monitor and manage the flow of projects through various stages of development, ensuring that projects move smoothly from concept to execution. Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively address potential challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Resource Allocation: Assign tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members based on skillsets, availability, and project requirements. Optimise resource allocation to maintain a balanced workload and ensure timely project delivery. Working with both internal resources as well as recruiting externally.
- Timeline Management: Create, manage, and update internal project timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of key milestones, deadlines, and dependencies. Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changing priorities.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with client expectations. Provide feedback and guidance to creative teams to enhance the overall quality of work.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with teams to find solutions and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project details, status updates, and resource allocations. Generate regular reports and insights to provide visibility into project progress and performance metrics.
- Process Improvement: Working with the Studio & Operations Director, continuously assess and refine project management processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness. Propose and implement enhancements to streamline workflows and enhance the overall project management experience.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within a creative agency or events environment.
- Experience working with recruitment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of creative processes and also platforms used, and an understanding of event planning concepts is a plus.
